About the Project
The Article Sharing Platform is a web experience for publishing and discovering written content. Alongside a clear reading experience, it lets readers save their thoughts in context by attaching notes to selected words or sentences and organizing those notes into folders.
The Challenge
When articles are presented without a clear structure, readers can have difficulty finding content and following it comfortably. Readers also need a practical way to capture thoughts about specific passages and keep those notes organized for later. The platform needed to bring discovery, reading, and personal organization together in one cohesive experience.
What I Did
- Designed the experience around the article, keeping the content and its presentation at the center.
- Organized the interface to make browsing articles and moving into their content straightforward.
- Enabled readers to add notes to any selected word or sentence and group their notes into folders.
- Built a consistent, responsive layout so articles remain comfortable to read across different screen sizes.
Outcome
The result is a focused platform where readers can discover and read articles, annotate specific passages, and organize their notes into folders. This keeps personal insights easy to revisit while providing a consistent reading experience.
